Over 8K Entergy customers without power in Orleans Parish

Over 8,500 Entergy customers are without power in Orleans Parish.

As thunderstorms rolled in on Friday, numerous customers saw outages in their neighborhoods.

As of 7:30 p.m. Friday, 8,664 customers were affected by the storms in Orleans Parish.

Entergy's website states that crews are working to restore power in the affected areas. They have not given an estimate on when they expect to have power restored.
