Sheriff: Deadly St. Rose shooting appears to be drug related

ST. ROSE, LA (WVUE) -

A 21-year-old man is dead after being shot multiple times in St. Rose.

Officers say that the shooting happened around 5 a.m. Monday morning in the 1220 block of Kennedy Street.

The victim, identified as 21-year-old Richard Bailey, was pronounced dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds. The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office says that the shooting appears to be drug related.

The incident remains under investigation. Police have announced the arrests of four individuals involved in the homicide. Anthony J. Rotondi, 21, David Hunter Jr, 17, Pedro Furlan Jr, 19 and Courtney Ward, 18, were all taken into custody Monday.
