Rain chances creep up, but showers will be scattered

Tropical Storm Arthur will move northward and remain along the U.S. East coast. This same trough will erode the upper high over the Southeast and begin to trigger some showers by Wednesday, with a better chance Thursday as a weak frontal boundary moves into the area.

Though rain chances will be higher, we are not anticipating the rainfall amounts we saw last week.

A chance for showers will persist into the rest of the week and upcoming weekend. No need to cancel outdoor plans, as the rains will be scattered.
