Feed the Multitudes - Free food, kids activities from 10 am to 3 pm at Victory Fellowship, 5708 Airline.
Go Fourth on the River - The 24th annual Independence Day celebration with the Dueling Barges Fireworks extravaganza at 9 pm over the Mississippi River.
St. Bernard Salutes America - Celebration will include live music by Amanda Shaw and The Top Cats. The event will feature a hot dog eating contest sponsored by Stonewalls BBQ. Starts at 4:30 pm Fireworks at 9 pm At 8245 W. Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette, LA
Bucktown Bash - Bucktown will celebrate its second annual July 4 Bucktown Bash with a shrimp fest, live music, kids' attractions and a Bucktown heritage display. Starts at 10 am along the levees at Old Hammond Highway.
30th Annual Crab Fest - At Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis beginning at 11 am
Red White and Blue Butterfly Release - Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, 423 Canal Street, at 11 am
Mandeville Seafood Fest - Annual Mandeville City Seafood Fest featuring Jefferson Starship and the Grass Roots, plus local bands. All proceeds will go to NAMI. Noon to midnight at Fontainebleau Park.
Rusty Nail Fourth of July Celebration - The Rusty Nail, Dirty Coast Press, and My House NOLA are partnering for an unforgettable July 4th party featuring food trucks and much more beginning at 4 pm at 1100 Constance Street.
Abita Springs 4th - The town of Abita Springs will hold its first summer festival featuring music by Soul Revival with food and drinks. Starts at 6 pm with fireworks at 8:45 pm at the Trailhead.
12 Mile Limit - A special July 4th party featuring food trucks, drinks, and live music. Thank you to our sponsors: Mid-city Neighborhood Organization, The Boston Beer Company, and Old New Orleans Rum. Parking lot with food trucks is open to everyone; must be 21+ to enter the bar. 500 S. Telemachus.
