NOPD: Pair wanted for Lower 9th Ward home invasion

New Orleans Police are searching for a pair of men, wanted for a home invasion in the Lower Ninth Ward. The incident occurred on July 1, 2014 at 1:50 p.m. near the intersection of Dauphine and Deslonde Streets.

According to police, the two men entered the home and demanded the victim's belongings. The men took the victim's property prior to running out of the home. They ran down Deslonde Street towards Burgundy Street, then in an unknown direction.

The first suspect is described as a black man, 16-17 years old. He is about 5'6" to 5'8" tall, weighing 125 pounds. He has a thin build, light complexion and a mole on his left cheek. He was wearing a white t-shirt, khaki pants and white Addidas shoes. The suspect was in carrying a small handgun.

The second suspect is described as a black man in his mid 30's. He is 5'6" to 5'7" tall, weighing 130 pounds. He has a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a red shirt, black cut off shorts, black high top shoes, red socks with large white marijuana leaves. He was carrying a larger handgun with a gray slide and black handle.
