More scattered storms can be expected today, mainly with daytime heating.
There is a better chance for showers and storms, with around 70 percent coverage, as a cold front moves into the area Tuesday. The front will push south of the coast, bringing very pleasant July conditions for Wednesday and Thursday.
High temps will still likely reach near 90 degrees, but humidity should be noticeably lower. This won't last long, as southerly winds bring back the muggies and shower chances by Friday.
The tropics remain quiet.
