Unusual July cold front pushing through the area

The rain today is ahead of another unusual July cool front that should be south of the city before daybreak and off the coast by midday Wednesday.

This front won't get very far into the Gulf before dissipating, but it should bring us much lower humidity, making for several days of "feel good" air.

Moisture returns by late Thursday with daily storms back for the weekend.

The tropics continue quiet.
