An upper disturbance has been helping trigger showers and storms to our west overnight and the high clouds from those storms have been making their way over the region.
Filtered sunshine at times is expected today, but that, along with the drier air, may make today feel more like September than mid-July.
Humidity remains low, but we'll see a quick turn-around with our weather by Friday. The upper disturbance will develop showers and storms Friday with about 70 percent coverage, with showers and storms continuing over the weekend.
Highs today in the upper 80s and the same Friday, but with a different feel. Along with the increase in rain chances, an increase in humidity is also on the way.
