Suspect sought in Algiers home invasion

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Police are looking for a man they say broke into an Algiers home Monday and threatened the residents with a gun.

Terrance Wilson, 37, faces aggravated burglary and aggravated assault. Police said he is known to frequent a house in the 400 block of Whitney Street in Algiers.

According to police, Wilson kicked down the front door of an apartment in the 400 block of Leboeuf Street, pointed a gun at two people inside and threatened to kill them.

Police said Wilson should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
