Police: Houma teen jailed after stabbing brother multiple times

A Houma teen was booked with attempted murder and criminal damage after stabbing his brother repeatedly, according to Houma Police.

On Monday shortly before 3 p.m., police responded to the 7000 block of Main Street after learning that a 24-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times in the neck and shoulder by 17-year-old Dominique Moses.

During the investigation, officers learned that the two brothers were involved in an argument inside an apartment when Moses became violent and armed himself with a knife. After attacking his brother, Moses damaged his brother's vehicle by stabbing the tires and breaking a mirror.

The victim was able to get away and drive himself to the hospital.

Moses was jailed at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex.
