A second suspect in a deadly Lower Ninth Ward shooting has turned himself in to New Orleans FBI agents.
Jeremiah Washington, 28, turned himself in to authorities. FBI officials announced last week that Washington was being sought for the murder of 23-year-old Korey Reed on May 26.
Christopher Michael Dixon, 28, was also arrested as a suspect in the case on Thursday.
Police say Washington and Dixon gunned down Reed on May 23 in the 1900 block of Charbonnet Street.
Both have been charged with second degree murder.
