Franklin: Another weak front to move in

Updated:
NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The Gulf disturbance we were watching over the weekend is continuing to move toward Texas with no development expected.

The frontal boundary which brought mostly sunny skies to the area Sunday looks to be moving back northward, which means a better chance for scattered showers Monday.

Another weak front will be moving into the area by late Tuesday/Wednesday and could push through, dropping temperatures by a few degrees and perhaps the humidity as well.

The front will likely increase rain coverage on Tuesday and once south of the coast, bring a few days of slightly drier air.
