The subject of an ongoing FOX 8 Defenders investigation was arrested over the weekend.
St. Bernard Parish sheriff's detectives confirm that 34-year-old Sean Lewis, of Marrero, was arrested Saturday for harassing phone calls and making threats.
Lewis, the subject of our FOX 8 Defenders limo investigation, allegedly threatened another business owner's life.
Lewis posted bond and was released the same day
Lewis was also wanted in Jefferson Parish on an unrelated outstanding warrant for theft and forgery.
In a series of investigative reports, FOX 8 learned Lewis has been operating a questionable limo company, advertising limos and limo buses online but then showing up with old school buses to transport passengers.
The businesses use many names but do not have the authority to operate, according to the Louisiana Public Service Commission.
That means Lewis' business is not getting annual state inspections and consumers have no way of knowing whether they're safe or if they carry the proper insurance.
