The American Idol Live! tour made a stop at the Saenger Theatre Friday night with winner Caleb Johnson, runner-up Jena Irene and the rest of the Season 13 finalists.
Johnson and Irene took a moment out of their busy schedule to talk to FOX 8's Lee Zurik.
The pair talked about life after the show ended in May and their respect for New Orleans native and Idol judge Harry Connick Jr., nicknamed "Harsh Harry" for his tough critiques.
"I think we all love Harry," Irene said. "He just really gave beneficial advice like, musician-to-musician advice. I really respected him for that."
"He's just a really talented musician you know, and I think that him being from New Orleans you can see it, like, the way he performs," Johnson said. "His whole persona is complete."
