HOUMA, LA (WVUE) - A Houma woman admitted to stabbing her boyfriend after he came home too late last night.
Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at 108 Helena Drive on the morning of July 27. Police say a man was found inside the house with a stab wound to his leg, bleeding profusely.
Police say 21-year-old Kera Dupre was in the house with him and told police that after her boyfriend didn't come home at a reasonable hour, she confronted him and attacked him with a knife.
Dupre was arrested for one count of aggravated-second-degree battery. She was jailed at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex where she is waiting on a bond hearing.
