BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) -

We think he saw an Alabama fan in the water… Mike is ready for LSU football season.

Louisiana State University's mascot, Mike VI, made quite the splash for visitors.

Visitors at LSU saw the tiger in action in mid-July. One visitor caught Mike's powerful leap on camera.

Mike, a Bengali-Siberian hybrid, lives just outside of LSU Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.

He was donated to LSU by Great Cats of Indiana, a nonprofit sanctuary and rescue facility for big cats and other large carnivores, located in Idaville, Ind.

He has been the Tiger's official mascot since 2007. What's Mike up to right now? You can check out Mike's Tiger Cam here: http://bit.ly/1qxnacu
