Kenner Police have arrested four teens accused of robbing a 17-year-old Gretna teen attempting to sell shoes he was advertising on social media.

The Gretna teen arranged to meet with a prospective buyer after advertising Air Jordans on Instagram and KIK.

Police say the teen planned to meet an interested party on Saturday in the 1400 block of 31st Street in Kenner. When the teen arrived, he was met by several teenagers, one who had a handgun and robbed the victim at gunpoint.

Following an investigation, four teens were arrested. Brian Ratliff, 17, and Marcel Green, 18, were both charged with armed robbery. Ratliff was also charged with possession of marijuana.

Two 16-year-old juveniles were also charged.

The incident remains under investigation. Officers say a total of five people were involved in the armed robbery.

Bond has been set at $75,000 for Ratliff. No bond has been set for Green.
