A 22-year-old man faces four counts of attempted murder after he allegedly opened fire Tuesday afternoon in Central City.
Charles 'Butter' Andrews was arrested late Wednesday night. The arrest comes just a few hours after New Orleans Police released a wanted poster for Andrews.
Officers say Andrews was wanted for a shooting on August 5 near the intersection of S. Roman Street and Thalia Street. The shooting happened around 1:50 p.m.
Andrews was apprehended Wednesday night near the intersection of South Broad and St. Bernard Ave. without incident.
He was booked into central lockup and charged with four counts of attempted first degree murder.
