Victim identified in deadly Marrero shooting

MARRERO, LA (WVUE) -

Police have identified the victim in Thursday's deadly shooting in Marrero.

Police say Terry Holden, 47, was shot and killed Thursday morning.

The incident happened around 6:45 a.m. in the 6600 block of 14thStreet. 

Officers arriving on the scene found Holden suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police say Holden has an extensive criminal history with numerous arrests for possession of narcotics, parole violations, domestic abuse battery, resisting arrest and multiple fugitive charges.
