4 indicted in fatal shooting of rapper Magnolia Shorty

Four people face indictment in connection with the deaths of New Orleans rapper Magnolia Shorty and a man she was with.

A grand jury returned a true bill Thursday indicting McCoy Walker, Terrioues Owney, Rico Jackson and Tyrone Knockum on two counts of second-degree murder.

Prosecutors said they were involved in the 2010 fatal shooting of Renetta Yemika Lowe-Bridgewater and Jerome Hampton in New Orleans East.

A fifth suspect pleaded guilty in the case in July.
