6 guns stolen from Harahan shooting range

HARAHAN, LA (WVUE) -

Two people burglarized a shooting range, stealing six guns. Surveillance cameras caught the suspects on video.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering up to $1,000 for information leading the arrest or conviction of the people responsible for the burglary.

It happened on July 27 at Shooter's Club Indoor Range in the 2300 block of Hickory Ave. One of the suspects was covering his face with what looks like a piece of cloth. Both suspects had their heads covered.

The burglary and firearms theft is being investigated by the ATF and Harahan Police Department.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. All information will be treated confidentially and the callers may remain anonymous.

    The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran away from the scene of a deadly crash in George County. Three children were killed in the crash. Troopers said a green 2003 Kia Optima was heading east on Highway 198, east of Depot Road, shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
