Police investigate Uptown carjacking

Police are investigating following an Uptown carjacking Monday evening.

Investigators say that a woman was sitting in her vehicle near the intersection of Cadiz and Carondelet around 5:30 p.m. Monday when the incident occurred.

Officers say that the woman was approached by two black men armed with a gun. The men allegedly pulled her out of the car and drove away in her vehicle.

Police have not released a description of the suspects or the stolen vehicle.
