Police: Man holds up McDonald's from drive up window

Police are looking for a man that was caught on surveillance cameras holding up a fast food restaurant cashier from the drive-thru line.

Police say the suspect walked up to the window around 10:11 p.m. on Saturday at the McDonald's in the 2600 block of St. Claude Ave. and demanded the cashier hand over money from the register. The NOPD says the cashier called her manager to the window. He handed the man approximately $100.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

Officers describe him as an African-American man in his mid-to-late 30s, around 5'7" and about 130 pounds. The man concealed his face with a baseball cap and a lime green rag or shirt and dark shades.
