New Orleans police are asking for the public's help in locating and identifying suspects wanted in connection with several vehicle thefts and burglaries in the Marigny and French Quarter neighborhoods.
The most recent occurred in the 900 block of Ursuline Avenue on Aug. 28. At about 2:20 p.m., an black male was sen on video surveillance breaking into a 2010 Ford F250 that was parked in the block. The suspect took a black duffel bag from inside the truck that contained a .9mm pistol with a 32-round magazine.
The second incident occurred August 10 at about 1:45 p.m. in the 900 block of Frenchmen Street. The suspect was seen breaking into the front passenger's side window of a black Jeep Grand Cherokee. The suspect took two bags and a purse from the vehicle.
Detectives believe these two burglaries were committed by the same suspect
On July 30, in the 500 block of Elysian Fields Avenue, a white male found keys on the ground and used them to get into and drive off in a black 2010 Toyota Tundra that was parked in the block.
