The New Orleans Inspector General's Office says it will take a closer look at the Audubon Nature Institute and the Regional Transit Authority over the next few years.
The OIG plans to examine the Audubon Commission and Nature Institute in an audit of credit card use and expense reimbursement in 2015.
Auditors will also looking at the city's funding for Audubon and the organization's payroll and procurement.
The Inspector General's Office also plans to audit the RTA between 2016 and 2018, focusing on the use of funds and contract administration.
In addition, the OIG plans to continue looking at the NOPD's crime statistics and inspect the funding of criminal and juvenile court as well as the District Attorney's Office.
