The New Orleans Police Department is searching for a suspect wanted for a morning bank robbery.
According to police, around 10:30 a.m. a woman armed with a knife entered the Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank in the 300 block of St. Charles Avenue.
The woman also threatened to have a gun.
She was able to obtain an unknown amount of money and fled the bank on foot.
The suspect is described as black female in her late-30s to mid-40s, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall. She was wearing a gray t-shirt, a black fitted cap, and was wearing dark rimmed glasses. She had acne scars and discoloration along her chin/jaw line.
