Parts of Lafourche are under a boil advisory

LEESVILLE, LA (WVUE) - Due to a mainline leak, the Lafourche Parish Water District is experiencing low water pressure in the Leeville area, according to a news release. As a precaution, the District has issued a boil advisory for residents south of the Leon Theriot Flood Gate.

Residents should bring water to a rolling boil and boil for one full minute. Residents are also being asked to conserve water as much as possible.

The District said it will lift the boil order once it gets the all-clear from the Department of Health and Hospitals.
