Armed robbers turned a gun on an infant child in New Orleans East, police say.
The incident happened around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Downman and Dwyer.
New Orleans Police say that four suspects approached a man carrying and infant child. The suspects demanded cash.
When the victim advised that he did not have any money, police say a gun was pointed at the infant.
Officers say the victim handed over his cell phone and the suspects fled the scene.
Two teens were apprehended by police. Michael Brooks, 18, and Joseph Dixon, 17, were both arrested on Tuesday.
