Police: Victims robbed at gunpoint upon pulling into driveway

The NOPD is investigating three incidents where victims were robbed at gunpoint upon pulling into their driveways.

According to police, the first incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Newcomb Blvd.

A woman pulled into her driveway and was approached by three black males. One subject, armed with a gun, demanded the victim's purse and car keys.  The victim screamed and the armed suspect hit her with the weapon.  The victim fell to the ground and the subjects took the victims purse and vehicle.

In a second incident around 12:50 a.m., a male victim pulled into his driveway in the 6100 block of Dorethea Street.

He was approached by two armed subjects who demanded his car keys. The victim refused and pressed the alarm button causing the subjects to flee.

In a third incident similar to the others, a woman was robbed at gunpoint in the 5900 block of Jamison Street around 1:30 a.m.

The victim pulled into her driveway and was exiting her vehicle when two armed black males approached her vehicle.  The subjects demanded her out of the vehicle.  She complied and the subjects fled.

No one was hurt. A description of the subjects was not given.

It is unclear if any of the reported incidents are connected.
