HOUMA, LA (WVUE) - On Wednesday, deputies were called to a home next door to the scene where a Houma teen was shot by a deputy to calm what some had described as a riot.
Investigators found about 50 people arguing on Kirkglen Loop. As the patrolman calmed the crowd, he was told that a neighbor, Glenda Parker had gotten into an argument with someone she accused of parking in her yard.
As that confrontation became heated, Parker allegedly went inside and came out with a rifle.
She was subsequently arrested booked with inciting a riot.
