PORT FOURCHON, LA (WVUE) - Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for anyone with information on a trucker who allegedly stole $500 in diesel fuel from a truck stop.
According to Port Fourchon Harbor Police Chief Jon Callais, on Sept. 16 around 8 a.m. an unidentified man driving an 18-wheeler pumped over $500 worth of diesel fuel into his truck and left without paying.
The unidentified man, pictured above, allegedly pumped the fuel into his truck then entered the Kajun truck Plaza on Rappelet Road and attempted to pay with a fuel car commonly used by trucking companies, according to police.
When the cashier told the driver that the card was not accepted at the location, the man said he would contact his supervisor and arrange to pay for the diesel. Police say the driver walked out of the store and never returned.
The suspect was caught on camera and is described as a black male, bald, weighing about 220 pounds.

Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.00 in cash if the information given leads to an arrest.
