Call it "status quo," "more of the same," or "no big changes." This describes our weather pattern over the next several days.
The flow is "zonal" west to east meaning all weather systems with rain are staying to our north as there is no dip in the jet stream to bring in weather changes. For that matter, we will see no cooler air from the north through the weekend.
Today we hit a high of 89 above the 82 where we should be. We saw a few spotty pm showers (coverage about 20%) due to the persistent warm moist southeast flow, and daytime heating. This will be the case Saturday through Sunday.
Late night and early morning fog will give way to partly cloudy skies. A few spotty pm showers, and the air stays very muggy. We will see a semi strong cold front Monday night as this will be the next widespread chance of storms, of which some could be strong. We will stay on top of it! Follow me on Twitter: @BrucewxFOX8
