NOPD: Suspect stole Rolex watch valued at over $18K

The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating an unknown male wanted in connection with the theft of a Rolex watch from a store.

It happened Oct. 15 at Valobra located at 333 Royal Street.

Police say around 6 p.m., the suspect walked into the jewelry store and was assisted by the sales clerk. While the sales clerk left the suspect alone for a moment, the suspect took the watch from a display case and fled the store.

The watch is described as a Rolex Daytona 18 kt. yellow gold with a crocodile band. It is valued at $18,000

The suspect informed the sales clerk he was from Copenhagen, Denmark and was wearing a Jewish yarmulke.

Despite a sentence of 40 years to life, the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency voted to release him from prison into home arrest. Family members of the victims are concerned for the safety of the community, as are new members of the Clemency Board. CBS 5 Investigates videotaped Huff riding a bike through his Tucson neighborhood. There are no restrictions placed on his proximity to children.
