HAHNVILLE, La. (AP) - The arraignment of a former Destrehan High School teacher at the center of sex allegations involving a 16-year-old student has been pushed back to next month.
The New Orleans Advocate reports (http://bit.ly/1teRyO3 ) 32-year-old Shelley Dufresne (doo-FRAYN) was set to be arraigned Thursday, but her attorney, Deanne Williams, officially enrolled in the case only Wednesday.
The arraignment is now scheduled for Nov. 25.
Dufresne faces criminal proceedings in both St. Charles and Jefferson parishes.
