FOX 8 will air runoff debate between Landrieu and Cassidy

BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) -

Democrat U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu and Republican challenger Rep. Bill Cassidy will meet in one debate for their runoff election of the U.S. Senate.

The debate will be hosted by FOX 8's sister station, WAFB, on Monday, Dec. 1 at the station's studio in Baton Rouge. The one hour debate begins at 7 p.m.

The debate will be televised on FOX 8, streamed on fox8live.com and the FOX 8 News app.

Landrieu captured 42 percent of the vote in the primary election. Cassidy finished with 41 percent.
