SE Louisiana defeats Houston Baptist 76-7

Bryan Bennett threw two touchdown passes and Jordan Barnett tossed three more to lead Southeastern Louisiana to a 76-7 win over Houston Baptist

Bennett started the game and had two first quarter TDs - 37 yards to Jeff Smiley and a 38-yarder to Devante Scott to put SE Louisiana up 14-0.

Barnett threw two second quarter touchdown passes and his 47-yarder to Chris Malott gave SE Louisiana a 49-7 lead early in the third quarter.

Larry Day scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter, the only touchdown on the day for Houston Baptist (2-8, 1-6). Day finished with 36 yards on 12 carries.

Eugene Bethea had 125 yards rushing on 14 carries, Kody Sutton added 109 yards and three touchdowns, and Malott caught three passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns for SE Louisiana (7-3, 5-1 Southland).
