HOUMA, LA (WVUE) - Houma Police are investigating a head-on collision in the Houma Tunnel on Thursday that injured two people.
The crash happened just after 8:30 a.m. Investigators said a Ford Ranger driven by 19-year-old Stephen LeBlanc-19 yr old of Labadieville was headed eastbound when he crossed the centerline, striking a westbound Chevrolet Silverado driven by 52-year-old Robert Bertrand of Gueydan.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are not known.
The investigation is ongoing, but police do not suspect alcohol or drug use on the part of either driver.
