Thibodaux family comes home to find pet dog shot to death

THIBODAUX, LA (WVUE) - A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot and killed a Thibodaux family's pet dog, according to Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre.

On Monday (Nov. 10), deputies responded to home in the 300 block of Cedar Tree Drive after learning that the family found the dog dead when they returned home from a weekend trip.

Detectives want to talk to three juvenile males, believed to be about 13, who were seen riding a camouflage-colored all-terrain vehicle in the area. They think the shooting happened sometime between Friday (Nov. 7) at 4 p.m. and Monday at 9 a.m.
