New Orleans Police investigating Gentilly double shooting

New Orleans detectives are investigating a shooting that left two women injured.

Police say around 6:45 p.m. the two women were shot in the 6000 block of Painters Street. One woman was hit in the leg and the other was hit in the hand.

We will have more information when it is released.
