NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with four business burglaries in New Orleans' Central Business District.

The burglaries occurred throughout the Business District on Saturday. Criminal damage was also reported at two businesses in the same area.

The first burglary occurred shortly after midnight at the Firestone Complete Auto Care, located in the 800 block of Camp Street. Officers responded to a burglary alarm at the location. Upon arrival, they found a glass door shattered. Further investigation revealed that a suspect tampered with the cash register and ransacked the file cabinet. Police say nothing was found missing at the time of the initial investigation.

A second incident was reported a short time later. Around 1:20 a.m., officers were called to investigate a burglary at the Q Smokery and Café, located in the 600 block of Loyola Avenue. Police arriving on the scene found the window shattered. Officers say three cash registers were found pried open and the location ransacked. Nothing was reported missing at the time of the initial investigation.

About 30 minutes later, officers responded to a call of a shattered window at the Indulge Island Grill, located in the 800 block of Carondelet Street. Upon further investigation, the cash register, which contained no money, was found to be missing from the bar.

A fourth robbery was reported around 8:00 a.m. Officers responded to a call of criminal damage at the Warehouse Grill, located in the 800 block of Magazine Street. Upon arrival, officers observed the front glass door shattered and the cash register drawer missing from the location. The drawer contained no money. Nothing else was reported as missing during the initial investigation, police say. Officers believe the incident occurred sometime between the hours of 11:15 p.m. on November 21 and 7:00 a.m. on November 22.

Criminal damage was also reported at two separate locations. Police say surveillance video shows a suspect smashing a window at the World War II Museum Gift Shop, located in the 900 block of Magazine Street. Around 7:00 a.m., a shattered side window was reported at the Back to the Garden Restaurant, located in the 800 block of Howard Avenue.
