JPSO: Man wanted for armed robbery of two businesses

JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) - Jefferson Parish detectives are searching for a man responsible for two armed robberies at businesses on the east bank.

According to police, the first incident occurred Friday around 5:00 p.m. at a Subway restaurant in the 3800 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard. The second occurred Saturday around 8:40 p.m. at a gas station in the 3400 block of West Esplanade.

The suspect has been described as a white man, 30-45 years-old. He is 5'7" to 5'8" tall with a medium build. He has brown or salt and pepper hair. During both robberies he wore a baseball cap, a gray zipper fleece jacket and blue jeans. He was armed with a small black handgun and drove a light-colored Ford Fusion bearing a partial license plate 505.
