NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Tis' the season to deck the halls.
FOX 8's Greg Adaline went looking for some inspiration for a holiday light display. He stumbled upon the Roosevelt Hotel, finding a light display that would make Clark Griswold jealous.
The second you walk into the hotel, you're immediately transported into a winter wonderland. With dozens of trees and tens of thousands of lights, you can't help but get into the holiday spirit.
"We feel a responsibility, honestly, for kind of the local population of New Orleans," said Tod Chambers, General Manager of Roosevelt Hotel. "We want to identify ourselves as New Orleans' Hotel. It's the best free show in town and we want people to come though and enjoy it. "
In addition to the festive lights, you get the festive sounds of the season. On Thursday, it was the choir from St. Anthony of Padua.
Christmas at the Roosevelt Hotel is definitely a New Orleans tradition.
