Today was another warm day as temps hit the 80s again. It does not feel like December!
Saturday morning will likely be warm and muggy with fog again, but the cooler, drier feel is not too far away. A cold front will push past us during the day Saturday. The front may bring a very widely scattered rain.
The Krewe of Jingle Parade Saturday afternoon, Celebration in the Oaks and other big outdoor happenings will not see a major effect. Behind the front, dry air will move in to clear things out and it will be cooler, but not cold as it's a Pacific air mass.
Expect comfortable conditions near the long-term averages, with highs in the mid- to upper-60s and low temperatures in the 40s.
Sweaters return, but coats stay away for now.
