Suspects sought in attempted armed robbery in the Quarter

The NOPD is asking for the public's help assistance in locating and identifying two men wanted for an attempted armed robbery in the French Quarter.

The incident took place Dec. 4 on Dauphine Street between St. Louis and Toulouse streets.

At about 8:30 p.m., the victim was walking in the block when she was approached by two men. One of the men produced a gun and demanded the victim's property. When she told them she didn't have anything, one of the men struck her with the gun, and both suspects fled on foot.
