Police responded Thursday night to a fatal shooting in St. Claude.
At about 6:30 p.m., a 28-year-old man was shot multiple times in the 1300 block of Bartholomew Street, and was driven by his wife to Press Street and St. Claude Avenue, where she flagged down a passing EMS unit. EMS technicians tried to resuscitate the victim, but were unsuccessful. The victim died on the scene.
Investigators are currently in the process of interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence, as well as trying to determine a motive.
