NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Saturday was absolutely gorgeous with sunny skies and very pleasant temps. What also helped was that the humidity remained low with dew points mainly in the 40s. Sunday and more so on Monday, dew points will approach 60° which is when it becomes a little more uncomfortable.
High temps will also reach the low 70s on both sides of the Lake the next few days. Few more clouds on Sunday afternoon and mostly cloudy Monday. A cold front will arrive late Monday/early Tuesday producing a few showers ... maybe enough to barely wet the ground. Not a great deal cooler with that front as highs will return to the 60s by mid week and in the 70s by the end of the week. A stronger front looks to arrive Friday allowing for the development of showers and t-storms with the chill returning for next weekend.
