Sat 2/7 Uptown 2p Krewe of Freret (Follows Choctaw)
History: The Krewe of Freret was established in New Orleans, Louisiana, as a co-ed Carnival organization which supports local industry, conducts service events that benefit the city at large, and preserves the longevity of the Mardi Gras tradition.
Comprised of locals, transplants, young, old, proper, outrageous, male and female. Join us and #BeMardiGras.
The parade will start at the intersection of Napoleon Avenue and Tchoupitoulas Street.
The parade continues north towards St. Charles Avenue.
At St. Charles and Napoleon Ave, the krewe will turn right and continue St. Charles all the way until Lee Circle. The parade will continue around the circle and on St. Charles towards Canal Street.
At Canal the parade will turn left and follow Canal to University place, where the parade will turn around the head southeast on the Canal.
The Parade will follow Canal until the intersection of Tchoupitoulas Street will the parade will turn left.
The parade follows Tchoupitoulas Street to the intersection with Henderson Street before coming to a conclusion in front of Mardi Gras World.
