After months of dry weather and an annual rain deficit over 9" our payback is coming.
A Gulf low will move to our south today bringing the best coverage of rain in a long time. We could easily pick up at least an inch in many areas, and isolated 3-4."
Rain will continue through Friday night and taper off by 9 a.m. Saturday as the low pulls east. Temperatures will be cool and the air will feel damp.
It looks like clouds will hang in for most of the weekend as yet another Gulf system brings another rain chance after dark Sunday.
