ST. ROSE, LA (WVUE) -

State Police have released surveillance photos of a suspect vehicle allegedly involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash in St. Rose on Thanksgiving morning.

According to Louisiana State Police Troop B, 25-year-old Christin Allday was walking east across St. Rose Avenue around 1:45 a.m. when she was struck by a vehicle.

Troopers now believe that the vehicle involved was a dark colored truck or SUV. The vehicle traveled southbound in the 300 block of St. Rose Avenue around 1:30 a.m. before turning east on River Road.

Allday was transported to the St. Charles Hospital where she later died.

Police say impairment is unknown on Allday's part, but blood and urine samples will be collected for analysis. The crash remains under investigation.
