Police seek suspect in ATM theft

The New Orleans Police Department are looking for a suspect wanted for stealing an Automated Teller Machine from a local business.

According to a NOPD press release, the burglary took place approximately 3:00 a.m. on Thursday December 18, 2014 where the suspect allegedly broke into the side entrance of Cajun Seafood in the 1400 block of North Claiborne Avenue. The suspect, according to police, stole the ATM from the business and loaded the machine into a light colored single cab pick-up truck before fleeing eastbound on North Claiborne Avenue.

Anyone with information regarding this incident are asked to call the First District Detectives investigating the crime at 504-658-6010 or call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
